Today, MyKona Organics carries Kona’s legacy forward by sourcing premium, unrefined shea butter directly from women’s cooperatives in Northern Ghana. In these rural communities, women gather naturally growing shea nuts by hand and transform them into rich shea butter using traditional West African methods passed down through generations.
Every purchase supports sustainable livelihoods for these women, helping them provide food, healthcare and education for their families while preserving an important cultural heritage.
